i have joomla 1.5 website running on customized template: http://foreclosureoptionsnetwork.com/joomla/ thing is, top menu (home, video, news blog...) doesn't reflect proper "active state" of buttons whenever seo friendly urls activated in global configuration. the active state of button have white button , blue text, while inactive state have blue button , white text. right now, ones reflect active state home , news blog, rest won't reflect "active" version of button. note home, video, learn more, faq, , contact menu links in article layout, meaning link article, while news blog blog layout menu link. this happens whenever seo friendly urls enabled, works when seo friendly urls disabled. help anyone? i don't know if solves problem... in ja_purity template have same problem when enable cache... try disable mod_mainmenu cache: go 'tools>module manager' , select 'main menu' module. under 'parameters>advanced parameters' sele...

i've been using ubuntu secondary os close month , find great. lately find after familiarization terminals, etc... use fresh installation eliminate unused items might have downloaded. when tried reinstall ubuntu cd, seems create partition apart current os's(ubuntu & win 7). there way while reinstalling, overrides current ubuntu , making 1 instead of two? thanks... i have feeling machine booting before video card can wake , i'm wondering if there's way can put sleep command in bootup stalls while. i'm not quite sure have go, because have after video card awoken before video card needs ready. behavior i'm seeing that: 1) gdm fails start , message graphics errors, can boot failsafe graphics, view logs or drop terminal 2) if drop terminal , run "sudo service gdm start" functioning accelerated graphics minimal boot , startup time recorded bootchart right around 4 seconds (3.99 last boot). i'm totally ok 5 second boot, or 10 seconds, want work every time. don't want go full install. looks i'm going want put script in /etc/rc#.d/ , run "update-rc.d script defaults" of course issue i'm going run ordering. hi in joomla 1.0.7 have created content item web links few lines of intro text , body text has icon on left 1 or 2 lines of text right hand side.  icon hyperlinked relevant web site. i have linked main menu "web links" - intro text works body text , icons not show on live site. i re-created same in static content , lose text , dreaded message "you not authorised view resource" i have tried number of different ways showing proving difficult.  have similar set in site using 1.0.3 , have compared settings on monitors side-by-side , same except end result. i searched long , hard on , other forums couldn't find specific.  here have fresh ideas? buster anyone?? short version: jittery videos after moving them mac , creating dvd.   long version: i have large number of family videos in mpeg format, rendered in sony vegas on windows machine. they're 720x480, 29.97 fps, 48000khz.   i'm trying move things on mac , found macs don't mpgs. so, used adobe media encoder (cs4, in windows) convert several quicktime (mov) files, using default settings quicktime - ntsc dv: video : 720x480. 29.97 fps, lower audio :  48000khz, stereo, 16-bit.   everything seems go fine (although i'm amazed how larger mov files after conversion). play fine on monitor, in windows or mac.   the problem when make them dvd in encore (again cs4) on mac. videos play jittery on tv. it's not noticeable when there's no action, in scene moves lot, starts hurt eyes , head watch it. make sure wasn't problem original files, made same dvd in encore using original files on windows machine , plays nice , smooth.   i'm using default transcode settings in encore...

stavo girellando per il sito di robot-italy quando mi sono imbattuto nel duinomite http://www.robot-italy.com/product_info.php?cpath=1_204&products_id=2284 in pratica è una scheda con un pic32 cui si può collegare un'interfaccia vga con connettore per tastiera; la scheda è compatibile arduino per quanto riguarda il profilo hw per poter usare suoi shield. ma la figata è che puoi scrivere programmi in basic direttamente collegando la tastiera alla schedina e l'uscita video ad un monitor e poi salvando il codice su una usd montata nel connettorino integrato! in questo modo il programma si avvia all'accensione della scheda in automatico ed è anche facile cambiarlo programmando la scheda come si farebbe con un normale computer. simpatica l'idea  ps: http://www.robot-italy.com/product_info.php?cpath=1_204&products_id=2283 questo modello integra connettori vga/ps2. cmq il costo è pazzescamente basso: 24€ :$ ...

hejsan jag har gjort en joomla-sajt för en kund. jag valde att aktivera ftp lager för att minska risken att någon obehörig ska kunna ändra inställningar på webbplatsen. jag har aldrig använt mig av detta tidigare och ångrar mig nu :p problemet jag har nu är att oavsett om man är superadmin eller bara vanlig innehållsadmin så kan man inte ladda upp bilder någon annan stans än images mappen med mediamanager. Även om man vill exempelvis ladda upp bilderna images/banners, så klickar man på banners och laddar upp filen, men den hamnar bara images. sökvägen som normalt visas när man klickar sig in på banners mappen är: /home/webhotellet/domains/mindoman.se/public_html/images/banners, men mitt fall när man klickar på banner mappen så är sökvägen kvar på: /home/webhotellet/domains/mindoman.se/public_html/images jag tror detta har med att jag installerade ftp-layers, eller kan det vara någon rättighet på mappen? går det efterhand att inaktivera ftp-layers? eller måste jag installera om joomla? ...

i imported 15 mxf clips (001118.mxf, 00dbg55.mxf...etc...) , once in bin there 15 files many have smae name (001118.mxf, 001118.mxf, 001118.mxf)     e.g.   have 7 --- 0001kl.mxf in bin those spanned clips; import 1 instance of them, , they'll come along ride. premiere can figure out media files belong master clip, , stitch them you, can use them 1 piece of footage. for writting user manuals need include 2 languages (original , translation). example layout includes 2 rows (a , b, textflow) 1 row english , other chinese. >how can chain titles or subtitles, corresponding titles has time same level in both languages (to include "new lines" have same level terrible when add later more text anywhere in document)?
