JFTP::write: Bad response When Installing Extension Remotely - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
hello,
i'm building website on localhost/windows vista business installation.
i have restored backup copy of on mac pro os x joomlapack kickstart procedure.
when try install component or extensions remotely following:
"there error uploading file server."
but first of getting when try set in global configuration, ftp data corresponding in configuration.php following:
"jftp::write: bad response
jftp::delete: bad response
jftp::write: bad response
an error has occurred! unable open configuration.php file write!"
all permissions (they similar unix/linux ones) configuration.php , folder in on: 777.
how fix please?

is ftp connection information in configuration.php file correct computer have site installed on? can not directly place install files in tmp folder on computer without trying make ftp connection? there firewall blocking ftp access computer?
