Powering with 5v?
hi!
i have build sensor notify me when garage door closed.
this done attiny, hall effect sensor , led.
when door closed magnet near hall effect sensor , makes attiny blink led couple of times.
what want making portable, sensor using 5v need 5v battery?
and want led lamp inside, requires 5m cable, makes difference? , cable (cheap one) should use?
and topics say, battery/power shall use when want make 5v projects portable?

so seen many 5v batteries in shops then?
no, have 3 choices:-
1) use higher voltage battery , put through regulator.
2) use voltage not exceed 6v , see how can discharge before stops working.
3) use step regulator minty booster.
