i upgraded cf 9 version 8 on development machine.   i seeing strange behaviour where:   i edit cfm page i refresh browser (ctrl-f5) , old cfm page processed, i.e. changes not picked up i experiment , add console  output cfm page, save , refresh - again changes not picked up i check date in windows explorer on cfm file, timestamp 16:26:00 i check date on corresponding cfclasses (c:\coldfusion9\wwwroot\web-inf\cfclasses) class file , it's older version, timestamp of 16:24:30 i run cf file again , see in debug time 16:28:00, cfclass file still 16:24:30 - change not picked up! usually happen bit , seems stop , changes picked again each , every time usual.    this has happened since upgrade. on win xp pro, it;s happening 1 of fellow programmers, , he's on vista. both upgraded cf 8 upgrade frustrating seemed work until restarted machine. after point cf not restart. turned out lot of files missing, uninstalled cf 8 , cf 9 , re-installed cf 9. seemed work issue cropping...

i upgraded windows 7 , photoshop elements 8.0... (formally using vista , photoshop elements 3).   has had success in using plugin using photoshop editing dds files (with first-mentioned set-up)?  i've found nvidia plugin using before, can't seem work new set-up.  can help, please? the nvidia dds plugin not compatible 64 bit versions. here's scenario.  user copies text black , white document in acrobat 8.2.  user goes , pastes text text box on different page.  when user leaves text box, text goes same color text box background , looks text has disappeared.  text can selected (although can't see until hit ctrl+a or drag mouse).  once text selected can changed different color , viewed.  although, text in different font (symbol far i've seen).  default text color black.  doesn't happen every time various text throughout pdf.  happen when trying select same problematic text.  i've tried uninstalling/reinstalling acrobat , i've been unable reproduce problem on 2 other computers working same document.  selecting text , changing color "too work" user , i'd find more permanent solution.  suggestions please... i'm sure has seen presentations of new ae cs5. besides native support 64-bit platforms, introduced appealing feature called roto brush. besides adobe employees telling "how great is", did outside adobe try it? think, intuitive? and, worth $300 upgrade? from i've heard (non-adobe folks included) new ae worth upgrade 64 bit, never mind new effects.   here's non-adobe person tutorial on it. it's still days , don't think opinion on how useful can given yet, results (even without him knowing tool well) promising.
