Thread: Touchscreens suck.

so have ubuntu 9.04 running on hp pavilion laptop , beautiful. working great. problem advantouch 15" touch screen monitor. tried every tutorial, every howto's puppy running no luck. have display no touch functionality. in past used elo drivers on windows , work smoothly. ubuntu wont recognize thing.i have monitor plugged serial usb converter laptop not have serial port. again in windows work great.

have serial usb converter working because shows mounted on ttyusb0

great monitor working.
