okay have been battling 2 networking problems 2 days now. installed 10.04 on wife's computer , trial live cd , quick search here knew getting usb dongle (a netgear wg111t , yes sucked) pain if possible never occurred me wired ethernet connection wouldn't work either. mean have been using ubuntu years , have installed on several machines myself , friends , although have battled many issue wireless connections in older laptops have never once had serious issues hardwired connections. long story short, give up. question should buy correct situation? looks cheapest option buy pci ethernet card easier use wireless in application. looked @ sticky wireless hardware , although comprehensive seems little dated. can recommend usb wifi dongle works straight out of box on 10.04, preferably brand , model number? alternately if go pci ethernet route there recommendations or issues might facing there? know kinda of noob question , seem sort of lazy after 2 days ...

i had sweet 1 in windows came wn111v2 did needed. windows , wn111v2 dont work need 2 things. 1 usb adapter work 2. wireless utility easy install. work out of van , have time online not if pain in a$$. wardriving, leeching, parasite, whatev wanna call it. call passing free time @ work. i have old linksys wusb54g v1.0 (or v1.1) , works out-of-the-box on pretty modern linux distro. not sure range though, , might little hard find since it's old nowadays. utility, network manager should fine wireless activities. if doesn't suit you, though, perhaps wicd job. i'm no more fan of google of microsoft, believe they're megalomaniacs no good. surprised see while updating lucid lynx update manager of libraries being updated had "google" in names. indeed, searching file system "google" returns total of 66 results, including libraries. why need google in linux? why should trust these files? have installed chrome? google-earth? widgets?.. google major contributor, user , developer of linux. trust open source software more m$ or apple. can remove google software enough you'll lose whatever functionality has given you. i installed lucid , have pretty configured. wifi worked right out of box( previous installs had use ndiswrapper) here's problem, though works slowwwww , doesn't play well. need finding driver loaded can blacklist it. run ndiswrapper xp drivers worked in previous versions. tried device-manager(directions begining ubuntu guide) , can see netgear wn 111v2 usb dongle, can't find driver installed it. dan to find out chipset, first use: lsusb write down chipset , hex codes mean manufacturer , product code xxxx:yyyy. search online bext solution chipset. there might better drivers within lucid, don't think ndiswrapper needed more. anyway, if still want proceed installing ndiswrapper, after finding chipset online there information driver (module) used default lucid. make sure driver loading in case, can check if it's loaded with: lsmod grep|drivername ps. i'm not sure if nee...

we have had 3 occurrences on 3 different machines, using both cf 8 standard , cf8.01 enterprise.  cf installs , runs fine.  when try uninstall it, uninstall runs fine deletes operating system files , can nothing with server .  cannot ls see installed, can't ssh server after uninstall, etc.  option rebuild server.  servers red hat enterprise 4 whm , cpanel no modifications.   the "odd" thing cf8 installation manual says log in root, position cf_root/ uninstall directory , issue: ./uninstall.sh the uninstall script in our uninstall directory has no ".sh" suffix, ran: ./uninstall this appears run normally, @ least correct uninstall messages, before trashes server.   this time able bit of info.  leaving second ssh window open , positioned directory think got messed (the /lib directory), able run ls command , returned: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: bad elf interpreter: no such file or directory   it appear uninstall erased of operating system glibc libra...

(sollte es bei reichelt geben) fällt euch nochwas ein? halt dinge die man im microkontroller bereich benötigt. transistoren, bestimmte kondensatoren, bestimmte widerstände.... nicht dass ich wieder eine spontane idee hab, die ich wegen kleinen bauteilen nicht umsetzen kann. schmeißt alle beispiele in den "raum" dazu noch eine nebenfrage. braucht man für die festspannungsregler lm 1085 it3.3 und it5 zwing...

i have been provided 156 word documents interlinked converted robohelp project.   the problem of them have spaces in name ie. (am complete linux newbie) i dual booting ms windows7 , ubuntu 10.04 32 bit i wanted make grub screen , behave differently 3 second delay , straight ubuntu. having read info @ https://help.ubuntu.com/community/grub2 i concluded must have grub 2 installed. downloaded , installed startupmanager. install seemed ok. when run startupmanager seem have half of missing ? i work hundreds of eps files every day , need know eps legacy version file saved to.   i know can drag file notepad , see designation, not sure-fire way since incorrect, later version creators cs4.   is there other way determine eps version, perhaps script?  absolutely love if there way tell in document info palette allows me identify other problems file might exist.   thanks input , ideas! you can open eps file in text editor , @ second line.   should this   %!ps-adobe-3.0 epsf-3.0 %%creator: adobe illustrator(r) 8.0 %%ai8_creatorversion: 10.0   this eps 8 saved ai10.
