hi everyone,   i've got document set quite few pages.   i started first left-hand facing page , added, say, line along bottom. wanted repeat this, in same place, across pages.   indesign letting me 'paste in place' on of left-hand pages, not right-hand ones. , can't figure out if supposed happening?   i want add detail right pages, when select page, , try paste, keeps pasting onto adjoining left-hand page.   am missing something? id sees spreads. if on left hand page , use copy/paste in place, that's it's going.   you'll need move position on right page , copy/paste in place. better yet, put on master page.   bob More discussions in InDesign adobe

i work lightroom 2.5 , dng (raw) pictures pentax k20d camera.  not happy noise reduction in lr (especially many slides have scanned nikon dedicated film scanner).  therefore, use better program (perhaps noise ninja) perform noise reduction, before use lightroom further developments , exports.  believe noise reduction programs work non-raw files.  lose significant image information if convert dngs 16-bit uncompressed tiffs noise reduction in program, save "noise-reduced" 16-bit uncompressed tiffs, , convert these tiffs dng before importing them lr?  other work-arounds can suggest if cannot noise reduction of raw files in other programs? thanks in advance, paul. there 1 opportunity work raw file/data, if use program adjust noise reduction or lens correction raw data cooked or partially cooked , not available process raw file in program. well, not quite everything. the problem run site people can upload recordings , maximum file size permitted joomla wasn't big enough (8mb or so) added php.ini joomla , cgi-bin directories. that fixed problem. however, issue site uses splash screen it's adult site (nothing extreme, weird or pornographic not kids). uses line in htaccess in site's root folder make default page splash screen, links index.php (the main site). since adding 2 php.ini files, it's disappeared , short of deleting them don't know how (if delete them of course, people won't able upload recordings). i know linking site blocked forum rules, saying can find on google i'm not sure about. if okay, , people want know search terms use, let me know. edit: fixed title - said php.ini had 'rined' everything! it possible (depending on server environment) use statement in .htaccess increase available memory. you may able remove php.ini files if can so. hi. new ubuntu. running ubuntu 10.04 , trying connect openvpn server. when connecting via terminal works command like: sudo openvpn --cd /path/to/configs --config config.ovpn when use openvpn manager via toolbar set connection locked symbol , confirmation connected ot openvpn server. however, when connected through openvpn network manager can not browse or send emails, timeout messages. have tried finding can on issue read, due lack of understanding in ubuntu have been unable solve issue. have figured problem routing. again, though not knwo how fix issue, nto knwo information put in gateway, etc. routing in open vpn manager. may of course totally wrong in assumption problem is. if nayone can give me issue solved greatful. hello, i have new after effects obstacle cannot seem resolve, if id grateful. simpler thing want create mask on when move object mask stays , object moves behind it. cant seem move object without taking mask it, annoying.   the more complicated task trying achieve create loop on objects movement, kind of conveyor belt, when image scrolls out of view behind mask repeats self on otherside creating continuous belt. not sure if there preset or have had no luck finding it.   if can help, thankyou much! this should help.   hello,     i’m working numerous time-remap comps, ranging between 5 40 layers. (comprised of .psd layerd files) i’ve noticed after effects slowing down import more comps final.   i’m wondering if converting these psd layers continuous footage improve performance.     as example, if have 40, 640x480 staggered still images, 200 pixel area alpha channeled out, vs. 40, 640x480 frames of continuous footage of same image area alpha channel.   would 1 perform faster?   i have 60 of such comps in project.   any ideas?   thanks   jeff the more stuff have in comp, more time render take, and timeremap cpu intensive.   but have take account file access too. possible continuous access multiple files slows down hdd point it's becoming noticeable in ae.   i try converting file sequences rendered footage see if notice difference. hi, i new coldfusion , looks promising when comes how applications can developed. our site utilizes asp , our asp programmer no longer company. wondering if possible add coldfusion on top of asp on same server add more robust content without re-programming pages utilize asp, add new sections our site cf. thanks in advance. i wondering if possible add coldfusion on top of asp on same server yes coldfusion can co-exist asp fine. not interfere with each other, don't share either. while no problem have coldfusion template link asp page , vice-a-versa, when 1 starts considering variable scopes , such the 'separate-but-equal' fallacy starts showing up. there techniques using web-services , other process share date between applicaitons. but if want run existing asp , develop new stuff in cf, there should little problem. hi have installed burg awesome - allows me boot either u!, win (shutter) or whatever os have on cpu. when go boot has 4 different types of ubuntu , i'm confused why don't have 1 single ubuntu os. there way see how many have installed once i'm logged ubuntu can try figure out why have many , differences - can work way down 1 ubuntu pick when booting? you have 1 ubuntu installed menu showing different kernel versions, eg 2.6.32-21 , 2.6.32-22, , there recovery mode versions of both you, ie 4 choices. quite normal , suggest forget , boot default, latest. previous kernel version on machine, when know latest works ok possible kernels not boot sometimes, , have alternative. if more 2 versions available uninstall oldest synaptic, leave two. removes menu entry grub, imagine same in burg. hello evereyone, planning on wiring button's pi. planning on direct connection between 3.3v pin->button->gpio, see lot of people putting resitors in parrallel ground. because saftey (will direct connection wil fry pi?) or high low sensing? people use resistors both safety , high/low sensing. when pin defined input , not connected (switch off , no resistor), input @ level. "float". takes tiny bit of current make level go high enough register high, stray electrical fields radio waves, magnetic fields, static electricity, make appear if switch has been pressed. connecting high value resistor between input signal , ground/0v, pulling input low slightly, no input register low. when switch connects input 3.3v pull input high more strength resistor pulling low, input read high. on safety aspect, connecting resistor between gpio pin , switch/resistor joint prevent current flowing if pin accidentally defined output. imagine happen poor pi if pin set output, turn...

i have secondary drive isn't mounting quite way expect. when boot , in /media directory, none of 3 partitions showing up. odd thing if go places, show there, , if access them under places, appear on desktop (as icon), and, appear in /media directory. there way mount these upon boot, , if so, how do that? thanks, andy you can mount partitions on boot, adding them /etc/fstab. have @ page more on fstab.
