Thread: Finding Installations of Ubuntu on cpu

hi have installed burg awesome - allows me boot either u!, win (shutter) or whatever os have on cpu.

when go boot has 4 different types of ubuntu , i'm confused why don't have 1 single ubuntu os. there way see how many have installed once i'm logged ubuntu can try figure out why have many , differences - can work way down 1 ubuntu pick when booting?

you have 1 ubuntu installed menu showing different kernel versions, eg 2.6.32-21 , 2.6.32-22, , there recovery mode versions of both you, ie 4 choices.

quite normal , suggest forget , boot default, latest. previous kernel version on machine, when know latest works ok possible kernels not boot sometimes, , have alternative. if more 2 versions available uninstall oldest synaptic, leave two. removes menu entry grub, imagine same in burg.
