ok, i've read lot of threads trying find solution none of them have answered problem exactly, here's have:   running new computer clean install of windows 7 64 bit , adobe cs4 master suite   hardware: dell precision m6400 intel(r) core(tm)2 duo cpu  t9900 @ 3.06 ghz, 3.07 ghz 12.0 gb ram   premiere ran fine while, i've run problem try export media encoder , keep getting error:   "could not read source. please check if has moved or been deleted"  on , over   i have deleted imported media 1 @ time try , locate what's causing since wasn't doing before, no luck.  restarted program premiere project won't open.  task bar loads until 2/3 in , stops there indefinitely, i've left , came 2 hours later , hadn't moved.  tracked , found previous save open, still not export, still says "could not read source. please check if has moved or been deleted".  , update , save new file 1 not open either.   i've tried recompressing each video file fo...

okay, i'm working on in interesting environment.  have 2 externally hosted coldfusion 8 enterprise servers have f5 server in front of them.  have 2 internal coldfusion 8 enterprise servers.  none of cf servers clustered using cf clustering.  1 fo internal servers has scheduled task used ingest pdf files onto databases specific sites.  these sites hosted internally, and/or externally, scheduled task runs through of sites, , individually performs ingestion making call appropriate site.  however, when request sent server on external envrionment, ingestion process causes locks on database causes sites cease functioning.  when 1 of coldfusion server's cf service stopped, ingestion works fine, f5 load-balancing useless.   my question this:  issue more fall in sessions on f5 vs cf servers, or more cf clustering should configured? we're using authorware 7 , used old version of flash (mx2004) correct errors in fla's supplied artists produce swf's. these "corrections" became more difficult action since flash mx2004 not able open content designed on recent versions of flash have flash cs4 professional version 10. that's when problem started.   our first try @ making swf text version 10 worked fine. 2nd "trial", had problems: text displayed on fla , displayed when swf double clicked on. text (arial font, static text & not dynamic) failed appear in authorware. discovered lines added line tool encountered similar problem.   one of our artists purchased flash cs4 version 8. amended fla's in version 10 without problems. we've received batch of pictures (fla's & swf's) same artist , swf's displaying same type of error ... text doesn't appear in authorware swf. i tried publishing 1 of version 8 fla's in version 10: same problem, swf's don't d...

i can no longer open dw on pc. worked fine on month now. editing web site today , downloading simple files it. computer said dw no longer functioning , shut down. won't open @ all, no error messages, nothing. uninstalled , reinstalled no avail. using win 7 x64. version shouldn't matter right? can dw operational again? program needed college course taking. help! did have trial version installed? hi, i'm using trial version of cs4, under gun, have strong working computer knowledge limited technical knowledge, , new video editing. had great guy teach me basic ropes of video editing in cs4 , i'm doing pretty great job of creating clips downloaded wmv files , have 7 clips of 12 done presentation need deliver today. suddenly, however, can't final wmv file load premiere. difference can see between 2 prior files imported fine , third 1 2 prior files show on desktop wmv "filmstrip" icon, , third 1 shows "first frame" icon.  3 wmv files downloaded same source, same size (250mg), etc. i've tried dragging , dropping, importing menu, , right-clicking. nothing works. deleted , re-downloaded third in case corrupted. reason, every time try import third file, cs4 gives me message "not responding," , premiere crashes. can't stop working on now, , need clips file. how can in there? thank you. of course, within seconds of posting -- , after fid...

is there way change settings in standard.joboptions file?   we using acrobat 9 standard on windows xp , windows 7.  need change default compatibility acrobat 6 acrobat 5, won't let save in standard.joboptions, , if try save different name won't let save in default folder, in user's folders.  , once have different file saved, doesn't show on list can tell distiller use default.   what missing? the job options file read only. can change that, better save new name std.joboptions. change default job options new file. change in distiller , in printer properties. recommended not change originals. suggest change display resolution 300 or 600 dpi default 1200. add in embedding of fonts. important readers need of font files.   after save may have enter distiller , select "settings" > "add adobe pdf settings". select new file. registers new job settings acrobat.
