hi guys, i'm trying dual screen configuration working 1 of monitors rotated 90 degrees vertically, while @ same time maintaining 1 workspace across both of them (so can drag windows , forth across them). in order this, i'm forced disable twinview , go xinerama, that's ok. problem follows: case unique in left monitor horizontal, while right monitor rotated 90 degrees, , vertical. - when move cursor onto vertical screen, , when try move above left, horizontal screen's boundaries end, cursor jumps down bottom of vertical screen. can't access cursor above boundary on vertical screen. note vertical screen's bottom in aligned horizontal screen's bottom, , vertical screen sticks above horizontal screen, both have 1680 x 1050 resolution/widescreen aspect ratio. - however, appears cursor having issues accessing upper part of vertical screen. when maximize windows in screen, fill entirely should. i use windows xp , latest version of opera web browser.   until today able view youtube videos when got prompt on site saying needed newest version of flash player. downloaded , installed it, , problem still remains.   is browser, youtube, or download? or doing wrong? go http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ - if can see flash animation , version information beneath it, fp correctly installed , working.   i see message on youtube; ususally hit reload button, , message disappears. hi everybody i've been having problems wireless internet connection. whenever boot computer, notification area in top bar, network manager applet not show. when open gnome-system-monitor see nm-applet --sm-disable running, should, still doesn't show up. what's more is, unable connect wireless network result of this. have tried doing manually through iwconfig, not support passphrases, , cannot past point, register essid. when doing manually have noticed after specify essid wlan not associate access point. eventually, though, nm-applet magically appear in notification area , and authentication screen appear, prompting me enter networks wpa or wpa2 passphrase. no matter how many times enter passphrase still have enter again next time reboot. anyway, after fill in passphrase , press enter, window freezes. after 5 minutes waiting unfreezes , connection established. have tried searching web solution, no 1 seems have specific problem. it's nm-appl...

im running ubuntu 10.04 , have been trying create partition can dual boot between ubuntu , backtrack, cant figure out how this. when start gparted searches /dev/sda/ or somthing , goes away read somthing gparted menu cant find nevermind. dont know im talking about if point me in right direction slave (not really)but please post link or im new using computers , head going explode!! if can or point out possible mistakes made please you should boot live cd partition hard disk, boot live cd, go gparted , partition there. sorry if misunderstood , did.
