hello everyone.  generating webhelp using robohelp 7. developer working new webhelp got idea pretty quick. generated map , set link call correct topic application.   at first not figure out how display navigation pane default. identified windows > new window in project set-up pod , when changed 1 pane view 2 pane view , regenerated nav pane started coming up.   the problem despite having unchecked use default browser settings, webhelp opens according whatever configured in browser "new window" links. example in firefox if options > tabs > open new windows in new tab instead selected, webhelp opens in new tab.  same deal in ie.   if can tell me how ensure webhelp opens in new window when context-sensitive link used appreciate it. used robohelp extensively time ago has been while , of stuff not coming me.   thanks   rcb hi there   i'm thinking if want new window, need resort custom javascripting. default, things dependent upon browser s...

i have 1000+ pdf's need optimize have filled in form fields.  if open these files individually, , go advanced>pdf optimizer, , select preset setting created, work perfectly.  if take same pdf optimizer settings , apply them output in batch routine, pdf flatten image, files have data removed form fields. hi everyone, bought 500 gb hard disk replace 120 gb one. have external hard drive did: sudo dd if=/dev/sda of=/media/lacie/harddisk.img in order make image of entire hard disk on external lacie hard drive. being bored (and stupid), decided go around , edit couple of files on drive during 12 hours took create image file. took out old hard disk , put in new hard disk , booted using dapper drake livecd , issued command: sudo dd if=/media/lacie/harddisk.img of=/dev/sda when come tomorrow, computer boot up? or did editing screw files? (the "editing" because using karmic koala ubuntu on hard disk trying copy, moved things in , out of swap , temporary internet files, accessing (but not editing, except time-stamps) of other partitions on hard disk.) hi all,   my client asked nicer reports don't "excel-ish", wanted see nice looking 3d charts along data in pdf format.   so, worked on trying create nice mockup charts using cfchart command, haven't used in few years. discovered whole webcharts3d series of charts, , impressed flexibility had. so, created html page data , new charts, , used cfdocument make them pdf. looked great! nice gradients on backgrounds, client's logo @ top of each chart, pie charts jump out of page @ you... got more few "wow's".   then, had real, , saw using cfdocument not allow print page headers , footers when report more page long. played quite while google searches , css tricks happen, isn't there yet - can't multiple footers print (although can multiple headers - it's hokey). not mention problems of page break cutting off line of text (maybe solvable, @ cost? hours more of time). so, gave using cfdocument tag our reports.   then tried cf report builder. have ha...
