hello, don't own pi want use mediaplayer (because of chinch plug) old tv , maybe second 1 display (with hdmi -> dvi) in room. want use pc streaming server movies on. first idea setup vnc server on normal pc , start movies there. want vnc because watch not movies have file, watch streams maxdome too, , pi not able play those. question is, if vnc client on pi brings enough fps watch movies without legs. great if has experience it. in experience vnc , pi on network, won't provide enough bandwidth watch movies. raspberrypi

hi, installed 1.5 on fedora 10 server php 5.2.6, apache 2.2.10, mysql 14.12 distrib 5.0.67 followed step step installation procedure. configuration.php not written on server although have 777 permission, (cannot give more permission can i?) no error generated @ end of installation but: 1 - /* database settings */ section remains empty in generated configuration.php. first line of last page of installation procedure gives sql request insert admin record in pos_user database. 2 - core_acl_aro , jos_core_acl_groups_aro_map tables empty @ end of installation, no idea whether normal relevant litterature mentions should not so. 3 - once installation directory has been removed , jos_users table updated admin record error message " you not have access administrator section of site " so know basically, how supposed make whole installation supposed do? thanks /patrick problem sorted, helps when permissions correct ... 10 years ago purchased "ms frontpage", happy it, works and don,t need search form script on internet  job. recently, hosting company told me , no longer support the  ms front page and recomment dm .  recently, purchase dreamweaver( cs4) , , build my  site but problem build form "thank you" page. my question following. 1)- how build form data entry.  ( done this- ok). 2)- send form clients email  ( done this, ok).. 3)- send thank page client.  -  problem, how add "thank page" client same time. hi,   the server keep our shared reviews crashed.  fortunately, shared reviews restored backup new server. now of recovered shared review pdfs prompt "cannot connect station2" message.  station4 new host shared review pdfs, identical directory structure.   it's not possible publish new annotations recovered review pdfs; acrobat finds , displays annotations on recovered server path.   where can modify server name recovered shared review pdfs?   thanks in advance, marta i found quick & dirty workaround share.   for each pdf:   open shared review pdf (click work offline when prompted). save archive copy other folder.  retains legacy comments (and appends _archive filename). delete old *_review.pdf file , associated comments folder on network path. from review & comment drop-down, select send review or attach review run wizard: (this step needs done first one): beside share location store comments click add new location. follow dialogs ...
