Thread: ERROR: Unable to assign attribute... in Nvidia-settings


i'm trying set graphical settings aa, af , vsync in nvidia-settings don't stick, error this
code:
error: unable assign attribute xvideosynctodisplay specified on line 52 of        configuration file '/home/tremded/.nvidia-settings-rc' (no display        connection).
and have manually reset them desired values after every login. there way make them stick when logging in/out?

i had similar problem...i couldn't settings stick in between boots. edited menu entry under system>admin>nvidia adding gksu front end of command. works charm.
