Shared Review Folder Relocation Problem

hi,

 

the server keep our shared reviews crashed.  fortunately, shared reviews restored backup new server.

now of recovered shared review pdfs prompt "cannot connect station2" message.  station4 new host shared review pdfs, identical directory structure.

 

it's not possible publish new annotations recovered review pdfs; acrobat finds , displays annotations on recovered server path.

 

where can modify server name recovered shared review pdfs?

i found quick & dirty workaround share.

 

for each pdf:

 

1. open shared review pdf (click work offline when prompted).
2. save archive copy other folder.  retains legacy comments (and appends _archive filename).
3. delete old *_review.pdf file , associated comments folder on network path.
4. from review & comment drop-down, select send review or attach review run wizard:
   
   • (this step needs done first one):
     • beside share location store comments click add new location.
       
     • follow dialogs specify new network path (still no idea where/how remove entry old, now-defunct location).
       
   • now send archive copy shared review:
     
     • remove _archive filename (acrobat re-append _review)
       
     • specify new server location comments

• complete rest of wizard per usual process

 

all legacy comments attributed you, on behalf of <original reviewer name> before each annotation.  reviewers can resume adding annotations until can deal unaddressed comments in these re-enabled documents , generate new shared review pdf.  enough.
