hello... i'm using ubuntu netbook remix 10.04 on acer aspireone d260 netbook. 1 of weird situation i'm in weird discharge rate of battery life... full charge, i'll 4hours 20-50minutes remaining on battery life, , i'm using netbook surf net, using wifi. here's weird rate, when click on battery icon, says left 4hours 20minutes, after 5 minutes drops 3hours remaining...then few more minutes, went 4hours...then went 4hours 15minutes...and few minutes again...i got 4 hours 20 minutes, left, again. opened statistic battery life, , char this. uploaded imageshack.us installed powertop, , says this uploaded imageshack.us know what's cause of problem? kernel problem or? also, found in net, , stated ubuntu 10.04 consumes more power windows 7...but prefer ubuntu os netbook it's lightweight, @ same time don't want sacrifice battery life... current kernel linux my-netbook...

i have problem media encoder, guess best place ask.   i have pal dv project, 4x3, 720x576 pixels size.  want encode flv flash file.  however, when send media encoder, whilst sees source file of 720x576, insists output should 788x576.  if reduce width 720, naturally height decreases 526.  spec have provide web 720 wide flv, if encode @ 720x526 apparently produces malformed metadata , cannot used.  bit rate has 1000kb/s can set without problem.   anyone know why me insists width 788 when else says 720?  also, can find metadata , possible correct it? hit resize button , unclick proportion lock button.     tip: view out put tab see effect of doing. i'm working on system animate character linking body parts , puppet pins (some using ik) of character animating null panes. because want group of characters use same animations. instance: have monkey , frog character use same walkcycle animation, jump animation etc.   my idea create workflow can create additional characters , apply animations made copying animating null panes new .aep , puppetpinning/ik-ing/linking bodyparts of new character panes.   right have set couple of characters problem want revise animation. can't tweak animating null panes , copy on other characters' .aep's because when delete character's null panes , replace them new versions of them can't parent bodyparts nullpanes anymore because don't line pose of adjusted animation...   i hope made i'm trying realize clear. i'm not experienced ae user , guess there must easier way set up. hear suggestions problem and/or workflow.   thanks,   olivier More discussions in After Effects...

i have standard menu item pointing category (alias = our-heroes). uses default template. articles listed in category have proper url (../our-heroes/article). i wish have same category display on special purpose template. this, have menu item pointing same category (alias = our-heroes-hid). menu item created in hidden menu low id. my result both standard , special purpose categories have articles same url (../our-heroes-hid/article). of article links use special purpose template. if unpublish hidden menu items, ok again. there way each menu's category articles have proper url structure? it seems joomla using first menu item lowest menu id basis building article urls regardless of parent category url or alias is. there solution or workaround this? i hope have explained enough. using joomla 1.5.10. hola! quiero compartir mi experiencia para ahorrarle un par de horas (o más) de sufrimiento alguien. tras montar un servidor http y https en mi raspberry (nginx+php-fpm+owncloud) gracias al magnífico tutorial de maauso ( http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpbb3/viewt ... 76&t=37657 ) me decidí configurar mi cuenta en no-ip para poder usarlo desde fuera de casa, con los clientes de móvil y de otros pc's. hice el correspondiente port forwarding en el router, con el puerto 80 y el 443 y nada. se quedaba cargando eternamente. tras revisar por activa y por pasiva la configuración del server, y ver que no había mucho más por donde rascar, seguí intentándolo con el router. un escaneo con nmap ( http://nmap.online-domain-tools.com/ ) me indicaba que mi puerto de transmission estaba abierto (9091) y que el puerto 80 y el 443 estaban cerrados cal y canto. comentar que tengo un router netgear y ono 50 mb como isp. googleando descubro que muchas veces estos dos puertos están capados, y q...

we have project website many pdfs.  @ particular location having trouble if pdf has link pdf within it.  can open original pdf ok, links inside pdf other pdfs dead them, though work other locations.  use ie6, , have adobe standard, saw in add/remove programs adobe reader 9.3 listed.  however, tried uninstall , no luck, when clicked on it, there no button allowing remove option.  after research, found many links mentioned reader 9.0 can problem.   here questions.  if have adobe 9.0 standard, still need reader?  if reader not needed, how uninstall if no uninstall option in add/remove programs?  thing else check see why links in pdf don't work in case, though work else?  have toggled 'display pdf in browser', doesn't seem affect anything.  have checked internet options/advanced enable 3rd party extensions under browsing, , have modified file associations open standard vs reader.   any ideas appreciated, thank you.
