help needed - animating multiple characters using nullpanes
i'm working on system animate character linking body parts , puppet pins (some using ik) of character animating null panes. because want group of characters use same animations. instance: have monkey , frog character use same walkcycle animation, jump animation etc.
my idea create workflow can create additional characters , apply animations made copying animating null panes new .aep , puppetpinning/ik-ing/linking bodyparts of new character panes.
right have set couple of characters problem want revise animation. can't tweak animating null panes , copy on other characters' .aep's because when delete character's null panes , replace them new versions of them can't parent bodyparts nullpanes anymore because don't line pose of adjusted animation...
i hope made i'm trying realize clear. i'm not experienced ae user , guess there must easier way set up. hear suggestions problem and/or workflow.
