hi folks   i'm new forum having registered.   i use audition 1.0 @ work.   recently have been recording 3 4 hour audio sessions vhs lp recorded tascam dr100 transfered pc.   the trouble encountering follows:   - transfered file pc around 500mb @ mp3 320kbps 32-bit stereo   - pc recognises file @ 500mb , duration 3 - 4 hours   - when opened in audition file recognised @ around 16 mins long?   any idea guys?   i have searched through forums trying find answer me resolve issue. if open file in quick time recognises , plays entire 3 - 4 hour file. when file decoded wav file, has to open in audition, way bigger max wav file limit. players don't have problem because don't decode file, stream it. you'd need mp3 file splitter break file number of smaller ones before open correctly.
