Thread: Configuring panel autohide operation


i using 9.10 ubuntu compiz window manager. interested in changing behavior of panel (top , bottom) autohide operation. have been in compizconfig settings manager / general options , changed edge trigger delay not seem impact how fast panels unhide when @ edges. delay response time before unhide occurs. also, narrow trigger region have closer edge trigger it. know how control these things? can direct me documentation? comfortable working underground (command line, editing, programming) find myself stepping ocean when try solve simple problems, build on others experiences. thanks.

alt+f2 > gconf-editor > /apps/panel/toplevels/top_panel_screen0

i'm on lucid can @ least use search in gconf-editor if location on machine differs proposition.
