Thread: Usb hell. Overheating usb devices.

i had targus usb hub, , wanted test if worked. didn't, after figured out disappointed. had plugged 2 usb flash drives it. 1 32gb flash drive, average 2gb. noticed small 1 had it's plastic casing melted. frantically pulled both of them out, late, both usb devices seem fried, there no response either. freed both casing, , still don't work. how can save devices?

you can save future devices not using hub again. there's not can ones fried. maybe electronics expertise identify damaged components , if can replaced. don't hopes up.
