Basic Lightroom setup ?

i installed lightroom , absolute beginner.

i installed on backup drive since has plenty of space-- tried import 200 pics , telling me startup disc not have enough space. know sooo basic use help.

lr should installed main drive, os located.if have installed anywhere else, uninstall it, delete preferences , reinstall accepting default instillation folder , disk.you need plenty of free space on lr run. files need imported drive enough space them, need drive lots of space. may have new drive either internal drive or external drive.
