Thread: No Wireless Connection with 10.04

i have installed latest version of ubuntu on lg x130 netbook - seems except have no wifi connection. have read through of forum posts on topic none wiser - please bear me new linux user! have tried use ubuntu , find come unstuck on first step -

1. type command: sudo lshw -c network should see output, along words "claimed, unclaimed, enabled or disabled"

output below can see none of "words" included:

grateful if point me in right direction proceed.

have solved 1 close , continue on own while - network card working , scanning local networks cannot transfer data via wifi router although can 'connect' , can 'see' other routers nearby in neighbourhood.
