An extension that helps with relative links?

i'm transitioning entire catalog of websites golive on dw , 1 issue that's killing workflow dreamweaver's inability rewrite relative links on paste. let me explain. i've got several sites have redundant content in form of downloadable pdf forms. these sites i'd make relative link on page (eg. /liftchairs/warranty.html) graphic , text link document in question. in golive these relative links , when copied them 1 page in design mode , pasted them page different nested structure (eg. /wheelchairs/powerchairs/warranty.html) golive rewrite relative link.

the problem dreamweaver rewrites relative links when move document, not when copy , paste content in design mode. links break unless directory structure same (which not possible on of sites). i've since learned if make of links root relative instead of document relative there's little or no need rewrite on paste. works in theory since of site additions posted temporary directory such domain.com/new client approval, breaks. likewise doesn't work dynamic templates or subdomains making lousy solution.

so question after long explanation is, there extension rewrites pasted relative links? seems such basic feature can't believe dw doesn't out of box. since doesn't need better solution half-baked 1 i'm using now.
