Thread: dispite following the guides, vega strike wont work

tried installing vega strike 3-4 time

have used synaptic package manager, add remove apps, direct downloads , through terminal.

installed, , shows in menu

nothing happens when try , launch it

having followed guide on thread ubuntu 64-bit gaming guidesvega strike guide

downloads libraries no issue.

cg program mamager no longer @ link provided , searching getdeb.net cant find newer version

therefore command work ogre of little effect

ogre installs without issue, except gives @ end of commands listed

checking zziplib_libs...

consider adjusting pkg_config_path environment variable if you
installed software in non-standard prefix.

alternatively may set zziplib_cflags , zziplib_libs environment variables
avoid need call pkg-config. see pkg-config man page for
more details.

i've tried installing on pc , gotten either (that x64 machine)

spec wise pc should amd phenom 2 x4 940 (4*3ghz) 8gb ddr2 800, nvidia geforce 8200tc 1gb direct x10 graphics (admittedly integrated, better lot of previous agp cards.(especially given whats down minimum requirement video cards vega strike))

i'm afraid ogre didn't install correctly you. didn't make correctly. apt://libzzip-dev, configure, make , make install again.
