Thread: Can't connect to belkin n1 router
i have new belkin n1 router tested in else's flat. worked fine.
when got home reset pushing paperclip in hole 10+ seconds erase flat's internet connection settings (username , password , stuff).
after plugged computer , tried connect (wired connection) using 192.168.2.1 (this correct router, not 192.168.0.1). browser says offline , cannot connect. lights of router cycle, "modem router" light blinks continuously , others briefly come on , go off again, every few seconds.
tried resetting again, several times, leaving off few hours, leaving on few hours, etc.
suggestions welcome.

have on following page: (at linuxhomenetworking) , follow steps there cover basic interface , connection issues.
there's lot of stuff on page.
in particular, arp command (e.g. arp -a) should tell what's sitting @ other end of ethernet cable.
when run command @ home,
. . . which, happily, gateway router.code:? (192.168.1.1) @ 00:1f:e6:25:9a:a4 [ether] on eth0
when run command @ work,
. . . 1 of qa server, , other gateway.code:qatest-lt.workbox.local (10.10.50.106) @ 00:21:85:1b:c5:62 [ether] on eth2 ? (10.10.40.1) @ 00:25:0f:9a:8b:45 [ether] on eth2
when run are, should @ least router.
anyway, page place start.
