Creating a video loop

i using adobe premier pro 8 create music video loops. doing  music tuition video can play along looped section  of song. want cut out loop song , export a  seperate video. requires quite bit of fiddling the  in , out positions match correctly.

 

when i  adjust loop in , out markers player not update new  in , out positions. keeps playing loop original  in , out markers. have manually stop , start playing the  loop again start playing loop between new  positions of markers. there way have loop update in real  time every time adjust in , out markers dont have  press stop , start each time?

 

i to  know if possible player automatically start playing  when move cursor in time line? have used other programs  nuendo , when click cursor in timeline it  automatically starts playing.

 

i have been trying to  figure out stumped!

not sure program using, there no prpro 8. pr 7.0 (on packaging called prpro 7.0) bit of oddity, of world got prpro 1.0. next versions prpro 1.5, 2.0 (sometimes called cs2 w/ production studio), cs3, cs4 , cs5.

 

there prelements 8, current version.

 

now, if want footage loop, export as, mov [animation codec], , in qt player, can set playback loop. believe wmp can set loop, , use wmv format that, plus others. not sure if vlc player, or mediaplayer classic hc, can set loop. may have experiment bit.

 

one author dvd footage, , in authoring program, set end action of timeline , loop.

 

in prpro, new sequence, copy/paste trimmed clip onto that, , hit spacebar play.

 

if dbl-click clip in timeline, you'll source monitor (where set in & out point. there, can set playback loop, , playback in loop.

 

which method choose depend on want, , possibly on version of program have.
