Thread: Turn off logging by desktop couch

desktop couchdb builds pair of log files in:

~/.cache/desktop-couchdb.log.1
~/.cache/desktop-couchdb.stdout.1

appears rotated *.2 , *.3 before disappearing.

in case, having uninstalled ubuntu one, think desktop couch db there supporting gwibber. both log files seem http access logs - referring head , - not value really.

if machine several days, these logs quite large. think combined 700mb after 12 days uptime before rebooted today.

there's settings file /etc/couchdb/local.ini log level therein seems affect log under /var/log/couchdb.

know how stop logging under ~/.cache?

well never found solution , desktopcouch had go (and take gwibber it) when disk usage went on 1.5gb. not lot on modern, capacious disks, desktop using 2 x 8gb drives , 1.5gb lot take out of /home is.

pino replacement , job (look forward combined timeline on multiple accounts).

indefinite/unreasonable growth desktopcouch/gwibber bug? report it?
