Thread: Does anyone use the global menubar in the bottom panel?

i reading old debate on osnews global menu bars vs local menu bars. , 1 of comments said putting menu bar @ top of screen wastes valuable part of screen. wanted him, "if think so, why not put @ bottom". couldn't because comments 5 years ago, got me curious if that.

is things 'file', 'edit', 'settings', , 'help' located in top panel or something? think bit unintuitive because wouldn't able tell window you're performing actions to.
