CS5 Student & Teacher Editions & Commercial use (in Australia)

specifically student editions not educational version.

 

i know in cs4, commercial use valid in usa.

 

it looks older "education version" no more in cs5 , replaced? "student & teacher edition".

 

i have read in faq usa adobe website allowed commercial use:

i australia , faq has not been updated , still shows information cs4.

i havent found "only in north america" stuff.

 

anyway, assume purchase of cs4 have free upgrade cs5, right?

if purchase cs4 student edition (which here in australia isnt allowed commercial use) , free upgrade cs5 (student & teacher edition (i assume version cs4 student edition free upgrade? , assuming commercial use of cs5 allowed in australia student & teacher edition) mean can use cs4 student edition not allowed commercial use allowed commercial use when upgraded cs5 student & teacher edition?

 

i hope makes sense , doesnt confuse much.

 

i posted thread eligibility if im student has finished classes , waiting graduate now. wondering if may still considered eligible student purchase.

this has caused confusion have changed policy around this. correct used in in cs5 have changed case regions.
 
  in nz student , teacher licenses can used commercial use both during study , after students or teachers have finished/left. i.e. teacher can freelance work on side , still eligible student , teacher pricing.
 
  when next version of cs released students have finished studies or teachers have left institute can upgrade commercial version @ upgrade price.

we not require them upgrade if wish can stay on cs5 indefinitely, when decide upgrade need purchase commercial license. have tiered upgrade pricing though works out cheaper them if upgrade straight away.
 
  the main condition student , teacher installed on private computer cannot installed @ institute (school, uni or poly). instead, educational institutions must purchase education version.

student , teacher licenses home use on private computers educational or commercial purposes 1 person. there no serial number in box , verification required.
 
  educational licenses use on education institute’s (schools, unis or polys) computers, educational use , not include commercial use. single teachers should not purchasing type of license, people should buying educational licenses educational institutions.

 

i teach photoshop , illustrator @ uni in australia , able tell students if can use student , teacher editions commercial use - if above true think clever move adobe if made bit clearer.
