Removing Old Adobe Reader GPO Package
this more of gpo question adobe reader. i'm hoping can answer question. have windows server 2003 r2 sp2 active directory. past few months i've been creating several gpo packages automatically install adobe reader 9.x , successive updates windows xp sp3 computers. have gpo packages deliver version 9.1, 9.2, 9.3 , today i've added gpo deploy version 9.3.2 patch.
the total size of 4 packages 400mb. i'd rid of old packages unsure how it. easy right clicking old package i'd remove select tasks - click remove , select allow users continue use software prevent new installations? after can delete associated shared folder contains adobe reader installation file(s), right?
please let me know if above correct way of removing old gpo packages. thank you.
since each package uses acroread.msi automatically sets "packages package upgrade" setting in upgrade tab, uninstalls old version before installing upgrade. can use either remove option it's uninstalled clients, delete deployment files.
