Thread: Is PAE enabled by default for 32-bit version?


i use 64-bit, need install linux on family's desktop (8gb of ram) , have excellent flash performance. result, have opted use 32-bit. pae enabled default in 32-bit ubuntu linux kernel, or need rebuild it? if not enabled, there easy way (i.e. launchpad repository) install pae-enabled kernel without building source?
in advance.

the answer no. not default.

need compile custom kernel , jump through other hoops.

pae not worth trouble.
