HIDE an article from logged-in users - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello fellow joomla people,

i have searched web , forum, , have not found useful or applicable solution following issue. if have somehow missed solution posted before, apologies, please post link post (so far have not been able find such post).

here's issue: have client wants hide article logged in users (the article happens appear on front page). set articles visible registered (logged in) users, opposite: show article 'public' non-registered visitors, , hide article once registered users log in.

anyone have ideas or solutions?

thanks!

(running joomla 1.5.7)

there no such parameter.

the state of non-registered content means don't have registered read it. if have registered content , non-registered on same page logged in user able see both.

how work? logged in users, restricted registered content only, reverse of non reg users have.

there must simpler solution, redirecting logged in users menu item invisible non-registered users, replicate information page match original exclude non-reg content?

otherwise have write new user variable in core of joomla 'non-reg-only' , apply that 1 article, lot of work 1 article. , impossible me don't know php.
