Acrobat 8 trouble - File Open Action - path changes

we have web application has menu option opens acrobat file on web server.  acrobat file has bookmarks in file open actions other pdf files on same web server.  of paths c:\inetpub\wwwroot\[appname]....   these bookmarks worked fine until upgraded acrobat 8.  when open file web app, file open action path changes c:\documents , settings\[myname]\local settings\etc...  in other words, used go ahead , open file if local web server, appears looking in default file open folder.

 

are there settings can change in acrobat 8 fix this?
