Thread: Desktop Effects Choppy after upgrade to 10.04

hey everyone.

ok upgraded 9.10 10.04. i've done both upgrade , clean install , results same.

after desktop effects enabled, effects don't appear "smooth". example, desktop cube , expo appear rather choppy. i've installed , activated recommended nvidia driver, , still same. compiz benchmark reaches 30fps. in 9.10 wasn't issue @ all. desktop effects smooth, when playing videos.

i'm using geforce 9500gt, on 64-bit version of ubuntu. mentioned, previous releases weren't issue @ all.

idea can start this. i've done usual "sync vblank" etc etc well.
