dv avi lossy

hi ~

i have footage shot on dv that's been used in project built in premiere pro cs4.

the problem system crashing , not letting me export tape, , i'm under gun done. says "system low on memory", though shouldn't - , virtual memory on drive 100 gig of space , it's set "let computer manage" virtual memory size.

i've "rendered effects in workspace" , timeline shows green line.

maybe ram failing?

so anyway, i'm thinking if processing of timeline intensive , triggering crash, maybe can export timeline dv avi output, play on timeline tape.. has play - no dizzolves or effects.

the question is: laying off timeline dv avi degrade video (noticably?)

thanks help.

when over, i'm going test ram software program see if it's failing or faultering....

another idea - maybe import ppro timelines into

ae , export there? (or maybe 1 can't export ae tape? never had it?)
