Thread: Netgear WPN111 + bad ethernet port

hello all,
have logged on here in quite while having issue , wondering if can me.
have older ibm thinkpad has bad ethernet port on it. have downloaded , installed 10.4 on , works fine.
machine computer kids use. have ton of learning websites wife has them work on during summer.
have netgear wpn111 usb wireless (for lack of better word) thing.
saw there instructions on installing ndiswrapper.

problem: bad ethernet port = can't apt-get anything.
sorry if wrong place or wrong way ask question. want working!!
