Faded white 'ghost-like' background behind PNG

i've created document , printed many times without issues, recent time i've printed it, behind png transparent background (looks great on screen) faded white box when printed.  happens around outlined text in document.

 

any ideas?

you may seeing effect of overly helpful printer performing unwanted colour management.

 

you may try turn off management, letting illy decide, or save pdf , print acrobat, using setting print image. former may difficult; if latter works, indicate printer (driver) issue.
