transactions in 1.5 and ADOdb - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hey!

i need use transactions component.
there functions in joomla api:
begintrans
rollbacktrans
etc

it says adodb compatability function, since 1.5. inspected code , functions empty. mean? joomla support transactions or not? there examples or blog posts (ive googled havent found good)? there way use adodb joomla?

can point me in right direction? :)
