Does director require flash player to be installed

hi all,

i have developed director application use flash content(swf's) ui. there need install flash players in machine run director exe.

because in run time loading combox contents xml array. problem face when click on dropdown getting hanged.

can 1 me on this.

you need include flash xtra projector. not need
to install flash players or plugins on end user's computer.

can explain in more detail hanging , when?
