Read More Link Not Working - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

we installed latest version of joomla. have created couple of articles partially shown on front page "read more" link. however, link returns following error:


404 - •article #47 not found•

i have gone global configuration , checked "yes" seo options.
i have looked modules sef , have found none.
i have copied htaccess.txt file , uploaded .htaccess
i tried adding following line in .htaccess file: rewriterule (.*) http://www.google.com not end @ google.
i using mysql version 4.1.20-1.fc4.1
i using php version 5.0.4-10.5.1swsoft
i using plesk control panel server

can me? website http://www.consumer-complaints.us read more links don't work on page.

start here .
1. switch off seo/sef
2. check error occours, if goto 5
3. switch on 1 one , check if error occours
4. find "add suffix document type"
5 else run forum post tool , display results
