64GB Memory Stick/Drive not recognised - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi, have problem cannot seem find answer to. (yes have googled many times).

have 64gb memory stick in rasp pi (running bmc) won't recognised.

have tried other usb sticks (2gb, 8gb, 16gb), , work fine.

have tried running powered usb hub , updating stable version nightly build. still nothing.

have installed putty , ran "tail -f /var/log/messages"

shows usb drive there, says "sda: unknown partition table"

how can fix issue?

many thanks,
chris.

largest usb stick i've tried 32gb - bigger/faster they appear need more current. "lsusb" , "usb-devices" report device (you compare table @ http://www.cpmspectrepi.webspace.virgin ... rives.html )? error message (above), however, suggests drive may not formatted correctly - can write , read elsewhere?
trev.
