Cannot SSH to RPi - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi.

have ordered new rpi. in meanwhile, i'm checking raspbian qemu on win7.
seems ok, network fine.
however, cannot ssh it.

"ifconfig" returns ip address, when i'm ssh'ing it, says "ssh: connect host 10.0.2.15 port 22: connection timed out"

there sort of sshd log file, can understand what's going on?
i've looked in /var/log, didn't find it.

other debugging advice?

is ssh service running on qemu image? have never used this, real pi, , these come service started these days.
