Scaling a SharedWhiteBoard

i used scale sharedwhiteboard putting in canvas , adjusting scalex & scaley on said canvas, problem has come light technique.

 

1. person starts sharedwhiteboard bg image @ 800 x 450px , space available whiteboard same sime.

2. size of whiteboard set match image size

3. person b enters same alcs session space whiteboard of 1200 x 600px

4. person b's whiteboard sets dimensions 800 x 450px, uses whiteboard.transform.matrix scale 1200 x 600px

5. person draws line on whiteboard @ x:100 y:100

6. person b sees line appear @ x:100 y:100 , not, hoped, @ x:150 y:150

7. both lines have equal thickness (ie: person b's line not half thick again person a's line)

 

we started using whiteboard.transform.matrix had same effect using whiteboardcanvascontainer.scalex = 1.5. seems both scaling techniques fail produce desired result. it's if scaling actual whiteboard in way isn't possible.

 

is true, or there way haven't discovered?

i have figured out how this:

 

1. ensure every instance of sharedwhiteboard same width & height across connected machines

2. never change width & height

3. put every instance of sharedwhiteboard in canvas container same size said sharedwhiteboard

4. use transform.matrix property of containing canvas scale container, not sharedwhiteboard
