How to overcome Error 1402 on Reader 9.3 installation?

i getting error 1402 attempting install reader 9.3.  points registry problem in hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\current version\run\optional components\imail

 

i have read instructions correct error 1402 still having problems.  adobe reader not appear in add/install section of control panel.  have used regedit @ above registry key.  can way end imail appears.  not know @ point.  fearful of damaging registry file until know precisely do.  can please step me through instructions can correct problem?

what windows version using?

 

are installing administrator rights?

 

you may need change permissions registry key listed in error message, using regedit or regedt32, depending on windows version.

 

you right being concerned editing registry.  should take registry backup before attempting edits.  erunt proven tool backup , restore registry files.

Trouble with PF_OutFlag_I_USE_AUDIO and PF_CHECKOUT_LAYER_AUDIO

i trying render graphical representation of layer's audio waveform. have seen this similar thread , problem checking out audio, cannot far.   in globalsetup function set out_flags thus..   out_data-> out_flags = pf_outflag_i_use_audio;   but in pf_cmd_frame_setup function, , pf_cmd_render function ( pf_cmd_smart_pre_render pf_cmd_smart_render)   the pf_indata src_snd structure empty , in_data->start_sampl == 0, in_data->dur_sampl == 0, in_data->total_sampl == 0     i missing something, appreciate guidance,   thanks   steve (london, uk - adobe plugin developers nearby?)
