Thread: Cannot completely load web pages on any web browsers


hello! newbie when comes ubuntu 10.04.

seem have stumbled on problem regarding internet connectivity. web browser (firefox or other web browsers) can't load desired webpages yahoo.com or google.com.

read different blogs in forum, have convinced myself there internet connection.

= when ping different websites, iseem responses sites. when need browse webpage iget no results.

= ifconfig seems respond enough.

= "route" shows ip address of router/gateway correctly.

problem , think, lies on proxy settings or dsn.

appreciated. thank you!
press enter in wiktionary or ctrl+enter in wikipedia

have checked mtu settings, isp's stipulate lower standard settings.
