i upgraded 10.04 have reinstall utorrent. last time did wine using method: http://news.softpedia.com/news/utorr...ps-49037.shtml

seemed work fine 9.10 try again , when double click utorrent launcher on desktop literally nothing. doesn't open anything, nor report error message. ideas? in advance.

i want start saying bittorent clients linux works perfectly, if need utorrent, thats ok.

wine have changed things because of security, when download file not marked executable. have either right click , select "allow executing" or command line(if 1337, or don't have option):

first change directory folder stored(usually ~/downloads):

then make file executable:

sudo chmod +x filename.exe

i hope helps.

edit: after looking @ guide, don't think have that? should work fine download exe installer, said above, , install itself.
