Restrict content to specific logged in users - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
good morning all,
i have been reading joomla docs , forum , can't seem find answer looking for.
i using joomla 1.5 , looking restrict articles within section specific group of logged in users. realise can locking them down "registered" users , such, can drill down further not want registered users able see articles in category.
for example:-
it knowledgebase creating intranet. want members of department able see it.
is possible create access level group contains members of department , restrict articles in knowledgebase category can see them? if not, there other way it?
apologies if i've missed in documentation, i'm relatively new joomla.

unless want wait until joomla 1.6 acl facilities ready, can create new access levels , usergroups jaclplus pro component http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/387/details.
