Thread: Broadcom 4312 iMac 4,1 wireless not working.

here's story.

when first had partitioned, , formatted appropriately, installed newest version of ubuntu available (time of posting 10.4), on partition made bootcamp, rebooted linux refit

once booted 10.4 got desktop, started asking me restricted hardware drivers, went system > administration > hardware drivers, searched drivers, found sta driver, , b43 driver, unable allow both. went on try ndiswrapper, downloaded off pc, compiled , installed on imac. got driver off leopard install disk, put on flash drive, extracted files installer, put on flash drive, went on machine in question, copied file desktop, used cd command navigate folder, ran ndiswrapper -i bmcwl6.inf, made sure inf , sys files in there, didn't know going on exactly.\

went software sources, , enabled cd software source, went synaptic, , installed drivers, said install successful, when go enable it, still refuse activate, have looked around solutions, have checked out other threads on matter. funny thing seems be, everyone, or has card on computer, upgrading 10.04, when worked on previous version.

thing, downgrading last resort if nothing else works.

if need additional information, ask.

know guys here help, know many others frustrated problem too.

can give me output of
code:
lspci -vnn | grep 14e4
