buffer grows without proportion until browser crashes.

we experiences phenomena flash clients connecting live (pre recoreded)

stream served fms (we use 3.5.2), have buffer grow out of proportion..

it accompanied complete video freeze, until browser crashes.

(you can expect crash after having more 4000 seconds of video buffer active in memory)

the more switch streams via playlist,

the more seems happen,

thus, streaming long video feeds keeps system stable, when injecting

feeds main stream , switching increases probability

of happening.

is there way prohibit flash player reaching enourmous buffers length's?

should try using play2?

any ideas?....

hi,

this looks serious issue if so. pls provide below information nail down.

* flash player version on?

* os?

* buffertime set in client application

* type of stream playing? audio , video codec?

* keyframe interval of stream played?

* property refering buffer length? did bufferlength property returned value more 4000?

"but when injecting feeds main stream , switching increases probability of happening. " - mean this? pls elaborate?

regards,

janaki l
