Thread: New drive installed but cannot access share

hi,

have built 2 ubuntu desktop machines 2tb drive in each.

machines sit on windows network 1 media storage other backup first.

have shared folder on each machine , shares can accessed other ubuntu machine , windows machines.

the problem

have installed 2tb hard drive in each machine , formatted ext4 file system.

created folder on each machines new hard drive , shared usual. shared folders can seen on network cannot accessed network machines.

error "unable mount location" "failed mount windows share"
